2009 Cobalt SS Sedan. You may be saying “I didn’t know they made an SS sedan”, or “ wasn’t the SS sedan Naturally Asperated?” The second one is right, but only sort of. In 04-05 there was a NA SS sedan and that afford a bit more power and the SS handling package.
However this is an 09 which has the 260hp turbocharged Ecotech engine, does 0-60 in 5.5 bone stock and makes good sounds. The turbo SS sedan was a custom order low production option and less than 500 were sold in 08-09. So yeah it’s rare. His one has 81,000 miles, a few mods and looks really clean. But would you spend 9500 on a Colbalt?
I have a secrets love for this car and tried to buy one a few years ago, pretty sure I made a post about it. That one was dark red and i think they were asking 9,000 for it. I like the almost too sleeper aspect of it. Seems more grown up than the Srt4 it competed against, but for the same money you could have a GTI. Which is would be a better choice based on interior quality alone. So which is more important to you having something unique or having plain seats?

These are definitely cool... just a very specific kind of cool.
NP, but only if your’re a Cobalt fan in the first place.

As fun as it might be, it’s still a 10-year-old Cobalt for damn near $10k. Massive CP.

I think its a NP. Its a cobalt but the only good one, the miles are low and it seems to be well taken care of.

cool, but CP
Too bad they only made the SS turbo 4-door for one year. The HHR SS lasted as long as the SS turbo coupe.
There’s more HHR Panel SS’s than Cobalt SS turbo sedans :p

I hate to say it, but I’d get the plaid seats. This is just too rich for any used GM shit box, especially from thei r darkest era of shitboxes.
Humorously, this is the kind of thing I could see showing up in a group somewhere picking on the person putting fake badges on it, only for someone to go...

This is a really cool car - though I’d be wary of spending that kind of coin on a ten year old Cobalt.
Love it though.

There was also a supercharged SS prior to the turbo version. It wasn’t as good apparently.

I remember MotorTrend had one at best drivers car in ‘09 and was kinda guilty that they hadn’t reviewed one before then because it drove so well.

At one point I was thinking this instead as a winter beater, because parts sharing with my Solstice. I can just stock one oil and filter. Even my winter tires will transfer right over.
Then figured some of you may hunt me down for winter beating a low production car like that, lol.

I would strongly consider it if I was in the market.
Hell I don’t even care for Cobalts. NP anyway.

Yeah the supercharger only lasted like 60,000 miles before needing a rebuild

I think I would too. If only for the hatchback and looks. I’ve learned har I don’t actually like owning a sleeper

That is low mileage 08-10 WRX money, or even e90 335i money, also BRZ, FoST/FiST money. So yes. Very very very CP.

Yeah, it’s been on and off Craig’s list for a while. I mean, I like the SS Cobalt, as its faster then the cars you listed, and a total stealth machine,
but still, this guy is wanting about twice what it would be worth.

I’d go HHR SS personally, but it is pretty cool.
